Having moved from Manchester, England 13 years ago to the big smoke of New York City, Andy started his Audio Career at MTV as a Studio Assistant. A few years later, after a chance meeting with Michelle Curran, Andy fortuitously joined the Amber team as Assistant Sound Engineer.
While at Amber Andy found himself being drawn into the lair of the legendary Bill Chesley. Fortunately, Bill took him under his wing, which led to an Assistant Sound Designer position and a priceless learning experience with one of the best in the business. A short time later Andy transitioned to the west coast and got his break with the now famous 12 spot Cadillac campaign. He has since continued to work with the Martin Agency as well as various other national campaigns for ESPN, Google, Nintendo, Coca-Cola, and many other high profile projects.
Andy recently collaborated with Bill Chesley on the critically acclaimed documentary ‘Freakonomics’ directed by Alex Gibney and Eugene Gearty.
When Andy is not busy making sounds he can be found wondering the streets of NYC as an avid photographer, he is a regular contributor to Getty and has had his images grace the covers of the NY Times Magazine and Home and Garden.
